Ngwala Willumbong aims to create the environment
for positive change for people whose lives have been affected by drugs
and alcohol, through a holistic approach which recognises the physical,
emotional and spiritual needs of our people. Ngwala
Willumbong is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals including
alcohol and drug counselors, social workers, family support workers and
youth workers.
Ngwala is committed to continuous improvement in alcohol and
drug service delivery by maintaining and improving the knowledge of alcohol
and drug workers.
Ngwala specialises in the training programs to the alcohol and
drug sector. Education and training curricula and programs are developed
to meet the identified training needs, to be relevant and are designed
and conducted in accordance with adult learning principles.
